I have been a software engineer in the aerospace industry for over 18 years. I enjoy taking care of children in Bible lessons and craft times.
Like many Americans, I was raised under a Protestant Christian influence. In my late teens and early twenties I was seeking to know and experience the truth about God. I opened myself to realms beyond Protestantism but did not exclude it either. In my late teens I began to study Zen Buddhism. I studied dreams while reading material by C.G. Yung. I attended a Protestant church near home. I studied jazz along with the music of late 19th and 20th century composers. I took a class in Greek philosophy and world religions. I wanted to know the truth about God and to experience it.
When I was nearly 23 years old I received my first chance to really know the truth about God and to experience it. This occurred when I began meeting with the local church and reading the Bible and the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. From this contact, I began to realize that I could know God in the deepest and most profound way because I had a human spirit of which the Bible often speaks (John 4:24, 1 Thes. 5:23). I soon found it easy to experientially enjoy the Lord, contacting and abiding in Him because I discovered that He lived within me. His address is my human spirit.
