Southern California Spanish-speaking Conference
There will be a Southern California Spanish-speaking Conference at the Ministry Conference Center next weekend, January 23-25, 2015. Child care for the conference will be at District 3.
The meeting schedule is as follows: January 23 — 7:30 P.M.; January 24 — 3:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M.; January 25 — 9:30 A.M.
District 3 Blending on Lord’s Day, January 25
Since the Spanish-speaking conference will occupy District 3 on January 25, we ask that the saints who normally meet in District 3 bring their children and blend with the other districts:
English-speaking: Districts 1, 4, or 5
Chinese-speaking: District 1
Korean-speaking: District 2
Service with the LSM Book Section
Living Stream Ministry would like to invite the saints of all languages to help with an end-of-the-year inventory on Saturday January 31, 2015. We will serve from 9:00 A.M. to noon and 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. You are encouraged to join either session. Please come to the Book Section in Building #3.
College-age Meeting
The college-age meeting will resume on Saturday, January 31, 2015.
Giving for the UK Radio Broadcast
At the winter training a presentation was given regarding the response in the U.K. to the radio broadcast. The video of this presentation is available on the website noted in the church news. The monthly cost of the broadcasts, which now reach over 60 million people, is $15,000. One-time and recurring donations are needed to sustain the broadcast. Saints who are burdened can give through the church or through LME by visiting lordsmove.org/ukradio. Please designate all gifts for “UK radio work.”
Radio Broadcasts
KKLA 99.5 FM (www.kkla.com) broadcasts the Life-study of the Bible with Witness Lee at 8:30 pm each Lord’s Day followed by a one hour live call-in program centered around excerpts from Witness Lee’s Life-study messages. This is in addition to the 11:00 am Monday through Friday broadcast of the Life-study of the Bible with Witness Lee on KBRT 740 AM. We encourage the saints to listen and even to call in with questions that are relevant to the program content. Currently, the fellowship is in the Gospel of John. Please pray for the spreading the truth and for the adequate finances to continue these endeavors.
