Memorial Meeting for Sister Martha Ball
A time to remember our dear and beloved sister Martha Ball, who went to be with the Lord on Decem­ber 22 at the age of 99, has been set for TODAY, January 16, at 3:00 p.m. PST. The meeting will be online. Please see the small group announcements for the Zoom meeting information.

Offerings for Philippine Typhoon Relief
In mid-December a typhoon swept through the Philippines and caused much destruction and damage to a number of church meeting halls and saints’ homes. Those who wish to give for recovery from this disaster can do so by following instructions at churchinanaheim.org/donations. Please designate your offering for “Philippines Typhoon Relief.”

Statement from the Elders Regarding COVID-19 Protective Restrictions
Based upon our experience in our recent weekend conferences, we are continuing to prepare our facilities for the initiation of an in-person meeting option. As we proceed, we will carefully observe our community profile of new COVID-19 cases.

Bibles for America Webinar
Recently, Bibles for America held a webinar on “Preaching the Gospel and Teaching the Truth with BfA Materials.” Testi­monies were included on Bible distribution by two districts in the church in Anaheim. Spanish-speaking Conference
A Spanish-speaking conference will be held via Zoom on January 14 and 15. The three conference messages will be spoken in Spanish and translated into English. Please see socalspanish.org for the meeting schedule and other details.

The 2022 church in Anaheim event calendar as of January 1 can be down­loaded on the home page at churchinanaheim.org. The calendar will be updated from time to time.

Young People’s Meeting COVID-19 Precautions
In light of the recent rise of COVID-19 cases, for the month of January, we would like to exercise caution and go back to a virtual format for the Saturday young people’s meetings and will not gather in person at the meeting hall. As we proceed week by week, we will carefully monitor the COVID-19 situation and keep you all updated concerning any changes. More details are provided in the YP email announcements.

YP Bible Reading Challenge
The young people will start reading the book of Romans on Monday, January 10. The complete reading schedule will be posted at anaheimyp.org/Bible-Reading.

Online Basic Truth Meeting
The Basic Truth Meeting for ALL districts of the church will be carried out each week on Lord’s Day afternoon at 3:00 p.m. via Zoom. Please see the small group announcements for the Zoom ID information.

Use of Southern California Blending Center at Oak Glen
During the pandemic, until the Oak Glen conference center returns to normal use, it is now being made available for use by families for family retreats and by serving saints, full-time teams, retired saints, or families who homeschool their children. For a limited time Oak Glen is open for use also as a wedding venue. Please email guestservices@oakglen.org for further information.

Serving at the Bibles for America Distribution Center
The BfA Distribution Center (DC) has moved to the LSM campus. Those who are burdened and would like to be a candidate to serve as a volunteer at the DC can apply at bfa.org/dc-volunteer. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve in spreading God’s interpreted Word to the hungry and seeking ones.

Three-Year Bible Reading Schedule
A weekly schedule is provided in the Church News for the saints to read through the text (without footnotes) of the entire Bible in three years. Each day’s readings will require 8 to 10 minutes. To keep track of their progress, the saints can download a schedule with check boxes from churchinanaheim.org/bible-reading.

English-speaking sisters’ Prayer Times
Each week sisters’ prayer times are held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. and on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. Please see the small group announcements for the Zoom ID.
