Wednesday Night Ministry Meeting
The Wednesday night ministry meeting for the spring 2025 semester will continue at 7:30 p.m. in the MCC. The general subject for this semester is “The Crucial Points of the Truth in Paul’s Epistles—Ephesians.” All the saints who are in good health are encouraged to attend in person. A live stream of the meeting will be available at lsmwebcast.com. Those who do not have a paid subscription will need to pay $2.50 to watch the meeting.
Spring 2025 College Conference
All the college students and the current high school seniors in Southern California are invited to join the Spring 2025 College Conference in Fullerton on Friday, April 18, and in Cerritos on Saturday and Lord’s Day, April 19 and 20. The cost is $5 per meeting ($20 for the whole conference). Registration must be completed by Lord’s Day, April 13. College students should register through their campus serving ones, and high school seniors can register at YP.ChurchInAnaheim.org/SignUp
SCYP 6th Grade Conference
Registration for the 6th Grade Conference is now open! The conference will be at Oak Glen on May 2-4. The cost is $125 per person. The deadline to register is April 20. To register and find more information, please visit children.churchinanaheim.org/6thgrade
Registration for the 2025 Summer School of Truth
Registration for the 2025 Summer School of Truth (SST) is now open. This year’s SST will be held on June 16-22, Monday through Wednesday locally in Cypress and Thursday through Lord’s Day at Oak Glen. The cost for this year is $225. The registration deadline is Lord’s Day, May 18. For more information and to register, go to churchinanaheim.org/yp. Those who are burdened to help with the cost of SST may submit an offering at churchinanaheim.org/donations. Please designate your offering for “2025 SST.”
Registration for the June Semiannual Training
Registration for the 2025 June Semiannual Training is now open. The dates of the training are June 30—July 5. The firm registration deadline for the live training is May 1; it can be extended only for the video training. Registration can be completed online, by mail, or in person. Gospel Meeting on May 10
On May 10 the church will hold a gospel meeting in the District 1 meeting hall from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. There will be no dinner at the meeting hall. We encourage the saints to invite their gospel friends to eat dinner in their homes before bringing them to the meeting hall. Additional details will be supplied later. Invitations that can be sent electronically in English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, and Vietnamese will be emailed to the small groups. Printed invitations also are available at the district meeting places.
Rebuilding of Atlanta Meeting Hall
The church in Atlanta is burdened to rebuild their meeting hall after a fire in June 2020 caused extensive damage to the hall. Currently, $3 million is still needed. Offerings can be made through the church in Anaheim and designated for “Atlanta Meeting Hall.”For further details and additional ways to give, see hall.churchinatlanta.org.
Meeting Hall in Riga, Latvia
Riga is the capital of Latvia, one of the three Baltic countries in Northeastern Europe. Riga plays a vital role in connecting these countries and serves as a key bridge between the Russian-speaking work and the broader work in Europe. Recently, the church in Riga acquired a four-story building that needs extensive renovation. Currently, the financial need is 500,000 Euros (about $550,000). Offerings given to the church in Anaheim can be designated “Riga Meeting Hall.”
Meeting Hall in Ontario, California
Since it began to meet in 2005, the church in Ontario, California, has been without its own meeting hall. Recently, a suitable property was located, and a purchase contract was signed. Currently, the need is in the neighborhood of $500,000 to complete the purchase and to renovate. Please pray for this matter. Gifts given to the church in Anaheim can be designated “Ontario Meeting Hall.”
Short-term Shepherding Trips in French-speaking Europe
A letter regarding short-term shepherding trips to care for the seeking ones contacted during the Paris Olympics is available at lme.org/reports.html. Instructions for those who desire to participate and for those who have questions can be found in the letter.
