Local Conference on the God-ordained Way
On June 16 and 17 the church in Anaheim will hold a mini-conference to review the first book in the God-ordained way reading program, The Vital Groups. The first meeting will be on Saturday, June 16, at 7:30 pm, and the second meeting will follow the Lord’s table meeting on the Lord’s Day. All meetings will be by language. Please see next week’s announcement for the locations of the conference meetings.
UK Recovery Version Distribution
This summer Bibles for Europe will distribute the New Testament Recovery Version during the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Saints from the churches have been invited to pray, give, and go. Details and applications to participate in the distribution are available at http://distribute.biblesforeurope.org. Donations should be given to Living Stream Ministry and designated “UK Bible distribution.”
BfA Table
Members of the church in Anaheim are invited to participate in a Bibles for America New Testament Recovery Version distribution on Saturday, June 9, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at a table in front of Walmart at 88 E. Orangethorpe, Anaheim, CA 92801 (corner of Orangethorpe and Lemon). Those burdened to participate can contact Paul Deng or Dana Philips or sign up at the prayer meeting.
Care Packages for the FTTA Trainees
Care packages are being prepared for the 18 Anaheim-sent trainees. Please fellowship this matter with your group meeting, and if there is a burden to provide items for these care packages, please coordinate the gathering of the items and have a representative contact Priscilla Thompson by Tuesday, June 5.
